Florida PTA Leadership Convention

I’m excited to invite you to join us in July for our annual Florida Parent Teacher Association Leadership Convention. Our theme for the 2024 Leadership Convention is “Leadership. Advocacy. Growth.”. Our Leadership Convention will once again be held at the beautiful Omni Orlando Resort at Championsgate, Florida, July 18 – 21, 2024. Please save the date and plan to join us! We are offering special pricing for those that register early (see details in the links below). If this will be your first time attending, you’ll experience amazing training and networking opportunities like nothing you’ve seen before! If you are returning for the umpteenth time, I promise that you won’t regret your decision to come back. There is always something for everyone! |
| We are planning new workshops, intensive training, fun programs, and ideas as well as a chance for you to network with PTA leaders from all over the state. Click here for the At-A-Glance schedule. We are committed to helping you honor the commitment you’ve made to help your students, families, communities, and school achieve and exceed their goals.
You’ll also be a valuable part of steering the direction of our association by participating in bylaws and resolution debates and by using your voice to advocate for the needs of All Children. As you know, advocacy is the heartbeat of what we do. Come be a part of making the priorities for the coming year. Additionally, this is an election year. You’ll have an opportunity to vote for the 2024 – 2026 Florida PTA officers. When registering, please keep in mind the number of delegates your local unit PTA has. If you are unsure, please view this page which lists each local unit and the number of delegates that your unit is allowed as of today. You can send as many attendees as your PTA has a budget for, however voting delegates are based on total membership numbers for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. Please note, you must be registered by June 1st for voting delegate status, and registration closes July 1st. Increasing your membership between now and June 1st could increase the number of voting delegates allotted to your unit. Keep in mind that membership is the lifeblood of our association. If you need overnight accommodations, please visit this link to stay on the resort property. Due to the location and popular demand of this resort, rooms fill up quickly.
