The Orange County Council PTA (OCCPTA) is excited to announce the return of our Teen Leadership Academy (TLA), a leadership program designed to help students in grades 7-12 become confident, informed, and effective advocates for themselves and their schools.
Participants will attend monthly leadership workshops covering topics such as public speaking, business etiquette, civics, and grassroots advocacy. The program culminates with a field experience at the Florida PTA “Rally in Tally” in Tallahassee, where students will engage directly with state leaders with bus transportation, lunch, and refreshments provided at no cost to the student!
Students must hold a PTA/PTSA membership (student or parent/guardian) to be eligible.
