DESCRIPTION:As stated in your unit’s bylaws\, a Orange County PTA/PTSA shall pay annual dues to County Council. Dues are payable on or by October 31st annually. After that point\, your unit will no longer be in good standing. \nPayment of Council Dues allows your unit to participate in Leadership Training events\, the National Reflections Art program\, Awards programs\, Scholarship applications\, as well as other programs or grants provided by the Orange County Council of PTA/PTSA\, Florida PTA or National PTA. \nOrange County Council does not receive funding from Florida PTA or National PTA and without Local Unit Dues we would be unable to perform our goals and mission for the children of Orange County. \nDownload the OCCPTA Dues Form or make the payment online \n \nWe are here to help you and your fellow unit leaders! email us at info@occpta.org \n \nBecome a Golden Orange PTA/PTSA for 2019-2020 by submitting your County Council Dues on or before October 31st.

DESCRIPTION:2018-2019 National PTA Reflections Program\n“Heroes Around Me”\n\nThat’s the theme for the 50th National PTA Reflections Art Program. Last year we were able to submit entries in all seven of the artwork categories showcasing the talents that Orange County has to offer.  Due to the efforts of our local units through the State PTA we are increasing community awareness of the importance of arts in education and the positive effects art has on the development of our children. \nReflections encourages students of all ages to: \n\nUnleash creative talents and be inspired\nExpress themselves imaginatively in their artwork\nExperience the fun and joy of making art\nTap into critical-thinking skills to create art inspired by the annual theme\nReceive positive recognition for their original works of art.\n\n \nStudents who identify as having a disability and may receive services under IDEA or ADA: Section 504 may enter in the Special Artist Division or grade division most closely aligned to their functional abilities. See Official Rules for details. \nReflections entries are due to Orange County Council PTA/PTSA on Friday\, November 30\, 2018. \nInstructions for Local Units: \n\nIn Person:\n\nDrop your reflections entries off at the OCCPTA office on Friday\, November 30\, 2018.
