Reflections: What is Your Story?

Reflections offers students from all grade levels, the opportunity to earn local, state and even national recognition for original work in the categories of Dance, Photography, Visual Arts, Literature, Film Production and Music Composition. Students who participate in the Reflections Program get an opportunity to explore arts and culture, develop creative thinking and problem-solving skills and recognize themselves as artists.

Is your PTA doing a Reflections program this year? It’s not too late for your local unit to participate! Check out our website for more information and don’t forget to register at PTA.org/Reflections. Also, email us at info@occpta.org to add your Chairperson to our directory. Reflections submissions are due to our office by December 6. We will have our drop off schedule available in our next newsletter.

Tamara Daugherty is heading up the Reflections Event for OCCPTA and we are all looking forward to an artistic extravaganza!  This year our Reflections participants will be honored with a special event at Artegon Marketplace on Jan. 7th.  Our visual art, photography and other submissions will be showcased at the venue for everyone to see!
