OCCPTA Reflections Winner Announced
Congratulations to all our Reflections participants!
Twenty-eight PTA/PTSAs in Orange County participated in this year’s National PTA Reflections program, twice as many as last year.
Orange County Council of PTA (OCCPTA) received 180 unit winning Reflections entries. It was such a joy to see how our students expressed themselves artistically as they interpreted this year’s theme, “The Magic of a Moment”. We praise and recognize each student for their efforts and contributions to this program.
Click 2012 – 2013 Reflections Winners to see which students received Awards of Excellence or Awards of Merit in the OCCPTA Reflections Program, “The Magic of a Moment”, and have advanced to the Florida PTA Reflections Program.
Thank you to the students, parents, teachers, school administrators, and community members who volunteered their time and talents to make this years’ OCCPTA Reflections Program a success!

OCCPTA Student Scholarships
The Orange County Council of PTA / PTSA is pleased to announce that the application for the 2012 – 2013 Orange County Council of PTA / PTSA’s Scholarship is available to any graduating senior of a participating Orange County high school.
Details of eligibility and rules are explained in the the following link – 2012-2013 OCCPTA Scholarship Program.
Please, note that in order for your students to qualify for an Orange County Council of PTA / PTSA Scholarship your school must:
- Have a local unit PTA / PTSA;
- Be a PTA / PTSA in “good standing.”
To be a local unit PTA / PTSA in “good standing” your school’s local unit PTA / PTSA must have the following done for the 2012 – 2013 school year:
- Be current with their bylaws;
- Paid their dues to the following:
o National PTA
o Florida PTA
o Orange County Council of PTA / PTSA.
The applicant must:
- Be a card carrying, paid member of a local unit PTA / PTSA in “good standing.”
